Christian Peacemaking? – A Palestinian Pastor’s Perspective
The century-old conflict in the Holy Land has led to much bloodshed – 4 major wars, 2 intifadas (uprising), countless skirmishes, thousands of lost lives, displaced people, broken families, broken relationships, broken promises, broken spirit.
Can one still advocate for peace and reconciliation in such situations?
Charity or justice? Submission or resistance? To wait or to act?
Rev. Alex Awad, whose principles of peacemaking and conflict resolution are based on the teachings and the example of Christ, will share his perspective and experience from years of labouring towards just peace in Israel/Palestine.
